Live-fire thermal runaway. Initial off-gas signal at 0:00, venting confirmed at +0:07 while legacy detectors remained silent; hydrogen alarm at 10% LEL at +2:20 versus +3:50 for the legacy detectors. The comparator is not identified; figures are the reported averages, stated without adjustment.
Siloxane immunity. Across 60 hours of continuous D4/D5 siloxane exposure the sensor held zero drift, while the legacy catalytic comparator lost 20% of its sensitivity.

Validated by multiple BESS OEMs. The detection technology has been validated in the UL 9540 and UL 9540A test programs of multiple BESS OEMs, as part of their own system certifications. UL 9540A is the fire-test method a product can be validated in; it is not a product listing.
Inside one UL 9540A unit-level test. The R-GAS-FLAMMABLE was mounted inside the battery unit, powered from the fire alarm control panel and logged over Modbus RTU, through both a cell venting test and a full thermal runaway test with two runaway events. The hydrogen, methane and Any Flammable Gas Mixture channels were recorded side by side. In the thermal runaway stage it reported hydrogen 42 seconds before the legacy H2 detector that triggered the purge system and 55 seconds before the fire alarm, and detected six different flammable gases, twice: a window in which purge fans and vents can already be running before an explosive gas mixture accumulates.
