Unlike traditional catalytic sensors, the R-GAS-FLAMMABLE is engineered to withstand exposure to siloxanes without degrading. Independent testing exposed sensors to continuous D4 and D5 siloxane vapor over 60 hours to compare performance.

With the latest firmware, the detector now supports detector-level Cross-Zoning for H2 (hydrogen).

• Industry First: Cross-Zoning means that an alarm is only triggered when two or more detectors confirm the same event, helping reduce the risk of false alarms. Traditionally this logic sits in the control panel or PLC; having it implemented directly in the detector is an industry first.

The Prevent-iON^® Mobile App is the dedicated Android companion app for the R-GAS-FLAMMABLE: Test. Configure. Commission. Inspect. Diagnose. Update.

• Requires the AX-USB-RJ45 adapter and an Android 8+ smartphone or tablet with USB OTG support.

Firmware is loaded onto the detector with the Prevent-iON^® Mobile App over the AX-USB-RJ45 adapter.

Current Listed Firmware — Version 4.41.17

The version covered by the current ETL listing to UL 2075. Use this release for any installation where the listing has to be maintained. It includes the extended LED status indications and the revised humidity logic (no nuisance faults above 60g/m³ absolute humidity, introduced in 4.41.09).

Pre-Release Firmware — Version 4.41.18 (Certification Pending)

Version 4.41.18 introduces the Secondary Trigger Source, enabling detector-level Cross-Zoning: a relay activates only when two independently configured trigger conditions are both met (AND logic). This release is currently under evaluation and is not yet covered by the ETL / UL 2075 listing.
